A resident reported that he received a call from an unknown number. This individual informed the resident that his e-mail had been compromised. The conversation between the two went on for 2 hours. Resident allowed the individual remote access to his computer and states the individual downloaded software onto his computer. The individual then requested money for his services.

A victim reported that she was a victim of identity theft. While at her residence on Frost St. the victim went on-line and visited her bank where a fraudulent form popped up on her computer. She mistakenly filled it out thinking it was part of her bank's process. Nothing was taken from her account.
