I was dispatched to a parking lot for a report of a hit and run crash. It was reported that a motor vehicle made contact with another motor vehicle as they were both backing out of opposite parking spaces simultaneously. One of the vehicles failed to stop and fled out of the parking lot.

A resident of Cambridge reported receiving a phone call from a suspect who claimed he was from a bank stating the victim was eligible for student loans. The victim was instructed to load $1,000 onto reloadable debit cards and call him back with the code numbers so he could pay the fees assigned to the loan. The victim loaded two cards with money that went missing in the evening when she called to check the balance.
