On 03/26/2014, Cambridge Police Department officers were approached by a female who was in the company of a male, the female stated that the male had spit in her face after an argument inside a local homeless shelter. No other relationship exists between the two, a past simple assault report was completed and the parties were separated.

On 03/26/14, Adam Mendelson, 53, 7 Exchange Ct., Waltham, MA, was placed under arrest for the following charges: A&B +60 (Domestic), Witness Intimidation and a 209A violation. Mr. Mendelson allegedly physically assaulted one of the victims, restrained the victim from calling 911 and violated a 209A order that a second victim has against him.

On 3/26/14, numerous Cambridge Police units responded to a financial institution in Harvard Square on a report of an individual attempting to make a fraudulent withdrawal of a large sum of money. The suspect fled on foot prior to the arrival of police. After further investigation, the suspect was identified. Investigation is ongoing.

On 3/26/14, officers conducted traffic enforcement at the intersection of Cambridge St and Third St. when they observed a red Toyota displaying an expired registration sticker. A Somerville resident was identified as the operator and sole occupant of the vehicle. She was only in possession of a learners permit and was charged with an expired registration sticker and operating unlicensed. The owner, a Wilmington resident, was charged with allowing unlicensed operation, expired registration sticker and having no registration available.

On 3/26/14, a resident of Cambridge was summoned for Failure to stop for a Red Light and for Operating a Motor Vehicle with an Expired License at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Prospect Street, Cambridge, MA. The vehicle was stopped for Failure to stop for a Red Light. As a result of the stop, it was discovered the operator did not have a valid driver's license because of an Expired Status.

A Cambridge resident reports unknown suspect(s) withdrew over $2,300 from her account at various New York ATMs. The victim states she still has her ATM card, so it's unknown how the suspect(s) were able to withdraw the cash.

On 3/26/14, John Dunn, 32, 31 Wheeler St., Cambridge, MA was arrested for A&B and Intimidation of a witness, at his residence. According to the victim, John Dunn twisted her wrist and destroyed her cell phone when she attempted to call 911 to report the A&B to the Cambridge Police.

On 3/26/2014, a Brookline resident was observed operating an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle after the registration was revoked due to lack of insurance payment while on a public way.
