A Larchwood Drive resident reports her unlocked 2008 Toyota Camry was broken into while it was parked in her driveway between 9:30 p.m. on 05/14 and 8:15 a.m. on 05/15. $4.10 in loose change was taken.

PLEASANT ST
Silvia Morillo Vargas, 32, St. Francis House, Boston, was arrested and charged with Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (wall) and Assault & Battery. Units were dispatched to an address on Pleasant Street for an assault in progress. Upon arrival and after an investigation it was determined that Vargas assaulted the victim by punching her, grabbing her by the hair, and slamming her head against a wall several times. The assault was broken up by a witness and the victim escaped to call 911. It was later discovered that Vargas also had an outstanding default warrant.

ECC dispatched CPD units to Larchwood Drive on a report of a past Breaking & Entering to a motor vehicle. Reporting person had three vehicles, left unlocked, with loose change missing from sometime over night. No damage to vehicles reported.

The owner of a Main Street restaurant contacted police after receiving an unsolicited phone call from an unknown male suspect claiming to be a utility company representative. Owner states that suspect demanded an immediate payment via a pre-paid credit card or service would be terminated. Since business' account is current, owner suspected a scam and contacted police.

Police responded to a Mass Ave address to document a larceny report. Upon arrival, police spoke to the reporting person who stated an unknown male suspect entered her place of employment on 05/13/2014 who made his way into her office and stole her iPhone along with $250 in U.S. currency.
