Cambridge Police officers observed a vehicle take an improper left turn at the intersection of Mass Ave. at Prospect Street. During the motor vehicle stop it was determined that the operator was driving unlicensed and driving an uninsured motor vehicle. The operator was issued a citation and summonsed into court.

Police units received a call for an unwanted person at a retail store in Central Square who was wanted removed. The suspect, who was later arrested, was identified as Gregory Kalundo, 42, 4 Beverly Commons Drive, Beverly, MA, who had an active WMS warrant.

Vincent Tang, 20, 8 Foster Street, Brighton, was placed under arrest in Harvard Square for Disturbing the Peace after being observed screaming threats at a group of individuals as well making offensive gestures and screaming offensive invitations with sexual overtones.

A Channing Street resident reporting finding a backpack with items removed and dumped on her lawn. Identification and investigation revealed the backpack was removed from an unlocked vehicle located on Brattle street. The victim reported parking her vehicle in her driveway at 8 p.m. on 5/21/14. The victim accounted for all her items in the backpack. It was determined the vehicle was entered and rifled through revealing nothing missing.

An employee of a business located on Windsor Street called to report that a woman she knows called her and stated that she was going to assault one of her staff members. This stemmed from an earlier altercation in which the staff member informed this party that they were reporting her to DCF for neglecting her two children.

Kerry Marino, 38, 19 Old Landing Way, Charlestown, MA, was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery and Possession of Heroin. She was observed by Loss Prevention via security footage stealing a watch inside of Sears. Once outside the store, Loss Prevention approached Marino and asked her to come back with them inside the store. Marino then told Loss Prevention that if they did not get away from her she was going to hurt them. After a search of Marino, Cambridge Police recovered an empty watch box, a box cutter. Once at the Police Station, a small bag of Heroin was recovered after a complete search of her belongings.

Ladon Adair, 20, 1 Leighton Street, Cambridge, was arrested at Broadway and charged with Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle and Operating After License Suspension. Detectives on patrol observed Adair operating the motor vehicle and upon querying the registration, learned that the motor vehicle had been reported stolen out of Cambridge. A subsequent check of Adair's license status showed it to be currently Suspended.

A Standish Street resident reports that her motor vehicle was entered sometime between 5/21/14 at 7 p.m. and 5/22/14 at 7a.m. No signs of forced entry to the vehicle. A roll of quarters and a few dollar bills were removed.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
DSS child hotline called dispatch and reported an anonymous report. DSS received an anonymous report that a woman lives at Massachusetts Ave. and has a one-year-old child. The complainant said that the parents smoked 94C around the child and that the mother was pregnant. DSS requested that we check on the well-being of the child and report back. Two officers responded and checked the child, apartment and the parents. Both parents stated that they do not use drugs and that they suspected that an ex-roommate is harassing them by calling in reports.  Responding officers could not detect any smell or evidence of drug use. The parents were very cooperative and the child looked healthy and well cared for. The call was then cleared.

On 5/22/14 the Cambridge Police responded to Albany Street for an unresponsive male subject, who had overdosed.

ALBANY ST
Heidi Murno, 23, 240 Albany Street, Cambridge, was arrested for Assault and Battery on a Police Officer and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. Cambridge Police, Cambridge Fire, and Professional Ambulance received a call for an overdose at Albany St. When we arrived, staff brought Murno to our attention for being non-responsive. When Cambridge Fire escorted her to an ambulance, she became combative, throwing punches and kicks. In order to restrain Munro, CPD attempted to place her in handcuffs while she was in the ambulance. It was during this time she kicked an officer square in the chest with a shod foot.
