An Appleton resident reports unknown person entered his  Honda while it was parked on Appleton street. The victim parked his vehicle at 9 p.m. on 5/21/14 and returned at 8 a.m. on 5/22/14 to find car riffled through and possibly $5 in change missing.

Police Units responded to a residence on Brookline St. for a domestic dispute. After speaking with all involved parties it was determined that it was only a verbal argument between man and wife.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
On the above date and time, John Dixon, 53, 240 Albany Street, Cambridge, was stopped by an employee of a retail store in Harvard Square. When confronted about shoplifting, he became belligerent and verbally abusive to the employee and pedestrians around him. He fled the store with merchandise. Mr. Dixon went into a woman's lingerie store and stole two more items before being stopped by the police. Mr. Dixon appeared to be very intoxicated and excited. He refused to calm down to discuss the incidents that occurred. His aggressive behavior began to escalate violently. He threw numerous pieces of trash from his pockets on the sidewalk as he shouted. Pedestrians had to walk into the street to avoid him. Eventually, he ended up striking the ground with an umbrella and challenged officer to fight. He was arrested and transported to the station.

A female resident of Harvard Street reported being a victim of threats committed by her brother. While she was at the police station talking to staff members she received a text from her brother stating he was going to assault her.

A Cherry Hills, NJ resident reports that on 5/22/14 at around 10:30 p.m. his iPad was stolen after he left it in a Springfield Street restaurant. The iPad was later located on 5/28/14 in the possession of one of the restaurant’s employees.

The owner of a guitar store on Cushing Street reports that between 3/28/14 and 4/24/14, a person in Singapore purchased three guitars totaling $13,500 with a VISA credit card. It has been determined that the transactions were completed with a fraudulent credit card.

OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE, IMPROPER * C90 S16

Fritzie Puverge, 28, 159 Elliot Street, Worcester, was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle after Suspension. Mr. Puverge was observed driving down River Street and then taking an illegal left turn onto Massachusetts Ave and a subsequent motor vehicle stop was conducted. During the stop, Cambridge Police discovered that Mr. Purverge had a suspended license. Mr. Purverge was charged with MGL 90 s. 16 (Improper Operation of a Motor Vehicle) for taking a posted no left and MGL 90 s.23E Operating a Motor Vehicle After Suspension.

On May 28, 2014 at approximately 10:45 p.m. Daniel Antinick, 23, homeless, Cambridge, and Elias Higgins, 36, 49 Imire Road, Allston, were both arrested for disorderly conduct and affray after witnessed fighting by a Cambridge Police Officer in the area of the Harvard Square Train station.

On May 28, 2014 Cambridge Police observed a motor vehicle operating the wrong way on a one way street. After conducting a traffic stop on the vehicle, the driver Ronald Lukas, 28, 30 Churchill Avenue, Cambridge, was placed under arrest after it was determined that there were two warrants for his arrest.
