Cambridge Police Arrest Suspect after Unlawful Wiretapping in Restaurant's Employee Changing Room

Cambridge Police today announced that Ariel Vanegas Cardona, 34, 984 Saratoga Street, East Boston, was arrested and charged with unlawful wiretapping.

At approximately 10:41 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, Cambridge Police responded to a report of a female employee at a CambridgeSide Place restaurant who discovered a hidden cell phone recording video footage inside the restaurant’s employee changing room. Officers interviewed all of the parties involved and Cardona later admitted to the placing and recording video of his co-worker. He was then placed under arrest.     

The details contained above are allegations.  The suspects are presumed to be innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
