MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Since October of 2012, the Community Services Unit (CSU) were dealing with multiple issues in the area of Massachusetts Ave. Numerous residents around the area are complaining about 12 - 20 adults hanging around the area (to include residential front steps and alleyways) smoking cigarettes and, on occasion, marijuana. This is happening at all hours and cars are illegally parked everywhere. At times, these people are throwing trash in to private yards, and "shooting up with needles and smoking in a glass pipe.".

Cambridge Police responded to a Pilgrim Street address after a resident called to report that her 20-year-old son was being verbally abusive after she confronted him for not working nor going to school. Both parties acknowledged that dispute was only verbal, were advised of their Abuse Laws Rights, but declined any further action.

Mario Resendes, 41, 371 Windsor Street, Cambridge, was arrested at Cambridge Street and Evereteze Way on an outstanding default arrest warrant issued out of the Quincy District Court charging him with ABDW, Witness Intimidation, Larceny from a Person and Malicious Destruction of Property Over $250 (WR4993113TC). Resendes was conveyed to the Police Station, where he was booked and processed in the usual manner.
