Two administrators of an elementary school on Sherman Street report that a parent of three of their students became very angry, loud and verbally abusive when he and his wife were advised by them that their three children would not be allowed to return to the school in the fall. The administrators stated they felt unsafe and intimidated by his actions at the meeting.

A Cambridgeside Place retail store called to report a larceny. They stated at about 10:45 a.m. two males entered the store and removed 14 pairs of sunglasses from the shelves. They then fled the store without paying for the sunglasses.

A male reports that an unknown person gained access to his Mercedes while it was parked near Central Square. Credit cards, and a driver’s license were stolen between 6/06/2014 at 8 p.m. and 6/07/2014 at 2:30 a.m.

A resident of Western Avenue reported her apartment was broken into sometime between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. on 06/11/14. The reporting person returned home to find a first floor window screen had been removed and that appears to have been the point of entry into the apartment. Two laptops were taken from the apartment.

Cambridge Police responded to a disturbance at Riverside Press Park on Blackstone Street. The involved parties were all family members. One of the involved parties was alleged to have assaulted another family member several years ago. They were referred to the proper agency to file a report.

A Memorial Drive resident reported a credit card fraud. A suspect cloned his credit card and charged items worth over $1,000 on 6/10/2014.

BISHOP ALLEN DR
Christopher Coates, 30, 70 Bishop Allen Drive, Cambridge, was arrested for aggravated assault after he struck his pregnant sister with a closed fist while forcing his way into her apartment.
