Federico Cepeda, 25, 625 Shawmut Avenue, Boston, MA, was arrested for OUI liquor (90/24/J), and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident with property damage (90/24/C) after he was involved in a motor vehicle accident and left the scene without exchanging paper work. Cepeda was then stopped a short distance later.

A Chauncy Street resident reports an unknown person stole her $700 blue Cannondale bike, which was locked to a bike rack in her apartment basement. The bike and lock are missing. This incident occurred between 3 p.m. on 6/17/14 and midnight 6/18/14.

UPLAND RD
Cambridge Police received a dispatch from E.C.C. on a past breaking and entering on Upland Street. Upon arrival, one of the victims directed an officer’s attention to a window in the rear porch, which was the point of entry. Stolen was one PC laptop, Kindle Fire, Mac Book Pro, North Face baby blue Backpack, and change from the victim’s room. A Detective responded and dusted for prints and secured evidence for Crime Lab. Residents were instructed by Cambridge Police how to harden their security to prevent future incidents.

A bicycle stop was conducted in the area of Central Square. As a result, William Fabiano, 44, 100 Locust Street, Winthrop, MA, was arrested on a warrant.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY +$250, MALICIOUS c266 S12

HARVARD ST
Cambridge Police were dispatched to Harvard Street for a report of a man and a woman arguing and fighting. The male and female were separated and an investigation was started. Officers noticed the top of the male's right wrist was red and swollen with teeth marks clearly visible. In addition, his shirt was stretched out of shape. He also had a four inch scrape visible on his chest. The officers spoke with the female who said that the two of them had been dating since January and that they have been arguing for several days. The female also stated that her boyfriend smashed her brand new cell phone. One of the responding officers informed the on-scene officers that he had encountered the same couple arguing on 6/16/2014 and took a domestic dispute report. At this time, both parties were placed under arrest. The male was arrested for Malicious Destruction +$250 and the female was arrested for Domestic Assault and Battery.
