A resident reports that her husband physically assaulted her three children during a disturbance outside their residence.

PINE ST
Cambridge Police placed Meron Getaneh, 28, 97 Pine Street, Cambridge, under arrest and charged her with assault and battery. Cambridge Police received a call there was a domestic dispute on Pine Street. Officers arrived and made contact with Getaneh and the victim. The victim stated that Getaneh hit him in the back of the neck multiple times.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Justin Lafitt, 25, homeless, was placed under arrest for Unarmed Robbery and Resisting arrest after an incident that happened at a Mass Ave. business. The manager reported that a male took four ice cream bars from the store, was leaving the store making no intent to pay for them, used his shoulder to force the manager out of his way, then fled the store. When officers approached Lafitt, he became confrontational and uncooperative. Police advised Lafitt that he was under arrest at which point he tensed up his arms and body preventing officers from placing him under arrest. After a short struggle, police were able to restrain him and he was cuffed without further incident.

It was reported that an unknown person entered a parked vehicle on Marney Street during the night and removed items. Damage was caused to the small interior compartment.

A New Hampshire resident reports that she sent money as a deposit for an apartment rental through a Craigslist advertisement, does not have the apartment and has not been able to get her money back.

Richard Payne, 39, 30 Shafter Street, Dorchester, was placed under arrest for ADW (Box Cutter). The victim and two witnesses reported that during a verbal argument Payne pulled out a box cutter and charged at the victim while stating “I’m going to cut you.”

Aparecida Alves, 34, 12 Oak Island Road, Revere, was arrested for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after she was detained for not stopping at a red light. The owner of the motor vehicle that Alves was operating was summonsed for allowing an unlicensed operator to operate her motor vehicle.

HARVARD ST
A resident of a multi-unit dwelling on Harvard Street reported individuals checking doors in the building. En route, units were updated that it was a break in progress. The resident stated she heard a loud noise and wood breaking and the sound of people rummaging through an apartment. Upon arrival, officers observed two individuals Allen Bolden Jr., 32, homeless, and  Danavian M. Daniel, 21, homeless, matching the description in the building. Officers confirmed there was a break in one of the apartments. The suspects couldn't provide an explanation for being in the building and were found to be in possession of burglarious instruments. Subsequent investigation found them to be in possession of items belonging to the resident of the original B&E and items belonging to a resident of Lee Street. When officers responded to the building on Lee Street they confirmed unit(s) had been broken into.

A Cambridge business owner on Mount Auburn Street reported receiving ten phone calls and texts from ten different numbers requesting to meet her for sex. Upon speaking to one of the callers, Cambridge Police were told he was responding to an advertisement for an escort service.

ABUSE PREVENTION ORDER, VIOLATE c209A S7

THIRD ST
Cambridge Police responded to Third Street and the Juvenile Court building to mediate a 209A situation on the second floor. Upon arrival, officers learned that this was a volatile 209A situation with both attorneys present and they had just had a probate hearing. A female was alleging that her ex-husband to be said to something to her in Spanish that amounted to a Violation of the "No Contact" provision of her 209A. Her attorney was insisting an arrest be made while the soon to be ex-husband, his female companion and his attorney claim that this incident never occurred.

Lorrie McGee, 57, 3 Allston Street Court, Cambridge, was arrested for Assault and Battery for a person over 60 years of age. McGee had a verbal argument with the victim and pushed her causing her to lose her balance, fall to the floor and hit her head. It was confirmed that the victim was 68 years of age.

FIRST ST
Cambridge Police responded to Otis and First Street to meet an out-of-state resident who was the victim of a hit-and-run collision with no injuries. The victim stated that at approximately 8:40 p.m. while operating a rented Nissan on First Street in the area of Otis, traveling towards Cambridge Street, looking for a parking space a gray motor vehicle, believed to be a Nissan, traveling directly behind him began to blow their horn. The victim stated that he accelerated and the suspect attempted to pass him on the left. The suspect sideswiped the left side of his motor vehicle and then fled the scene without leaving information, traveling down First Street, turning right on Cambridge Street traveling towards Boston.
