Gunshot Victim of July 3rd Windsor Street Shooting Dies

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Cambridge Police Commissioner Robert Haas are notifying the public that the victim in the July 3rd shooting, Kensley David, 22, of Cambridge has succumbed to his injuries.

Upon arrival, police found David on the ground with a single gunshot wound to the head. He was treated at the scene and subsequently treated at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Cambridge Police, Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office and the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office have been involved with an active investigation since the initial response occurred. Investigators continue to believe that this incident was not random and do not believe that there is on-going risk to the general public.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police immediately at 617-349-3300.
