Cambridge Police responded to Pleasant Street for the report of a woman who was looking for an escort to retrieve her belongings from a business. It was later determined the woman was homeless, had no property at the business and left the area.

A Dorchester resident was issued a criminal citation after he was stopped operating a motor vehicle on Cambridge Street with an unsecured load. A query of his license revealed a revoked status.

Cambridge Police were dispatched to a restaurant for a male party trying to leave without paying his bill. As a result, an Attleboro resident will be summoned into Cambridge District Court for defrauding the restaurant.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Gabriel Clara, 84, 273 Harvard Street, Cambridge, was arrested for Trespassing, Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest. Cambridge Police responded to a Massachusetts Avenue restaurant for a group loitering in the dining area of the establishment. Upon arrival, management informed police that Clara was one person among the group loitering who refused to vacate the premises. Police attempted multiples time to get Clara to leave but he still refused. Clara was then advised that he was under arrest. As police attempted to place Mr. Clara in custody, Clara pick up his cane and began threatening officers with the cane. Clara was then physically escorted outside of the establishment. Once outside, police attempted to handcuff Clara at which point he became very aggressive, combative and obnoxious, using abusive and profane language.

A call was received for a suspicious bag in the middle of the sidewalk on Dunster Street near Mt Auburn Street. Cambridge Police and Fire personnel responded to the scene. The bag was checked by members of the Cambridge Police Explosive Ordnance Unit and an explosive detection dog. It was determined to contain nothing hazardous.

A Myrtle Avenue resident reported a cellphone was removed from her house sometime in the last two months. The victim believes an employee of her cleaning company took the phone.
