A Malcolm Road resident reports her unlocked Chevy Trailblazer was broken into while it was parked in her driveway between 1/21 at 10 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. on 1/22. Two pairs of earbuds and $20 cash was stolen.

A Hawthorne Park resident reports her Mercury Montego was broken into while it was parked in front of her home between 3 p.m. on 1/21 and 8 a.m. on 1/22. A business card holder was taken out of the vehicle, but discarded a short distance away. Nothing of value was taken.

An employee of a Cambridge Street business states that the company has received four telephone calls from an unidentified male who states that the building needs to be evacuated and the FBI is going to "bust down the door." The unknown caller ended each call after he made those statements.

Cambridge Police responded to a Harvard Square retail store for the report of a past larceny. Lost Prevention was investigating a past larceny from their Central Square location that occurred on 1/13/2015 totaling over $3,200.  Lost Prevention interviewed an employee, concluded their investigation and decided to forward the findings to Cambridge Police.
