Cambridge Police responded to Cambridgeside Place on the report of a female shoplifter being detained. Upon arrival officers spoke with a loss prevention officer, who informed officers that he did observe Brandi Livingston, unknown age, 742 Albany Street in Boston, place -- without purchasing -- a jacket into a large shopping bag. He stated that he also observed Livingston pick out various items of clothing, as well as shoes and boots from same store. He stated to officers that she then covered these items with a jacket, which she also selected and walked out of the premises without paying for any of said items (value at $728.00), where she was stopped by loss prevention personnel and a Cambridge Police officer. Livingston was also found to have two warrants. She was placed under arrest for the warrants and Larceny Over $250.
