CAMBRIDGE ST
Cambridge Police responded to a Cambridge Street address for the report of a Breaking & Entering in progress. A resident reported seeing a male on the fire escape outside her window. The resident reported the male then fled down onto the roof of the attached garage before entering the backyard. Responding officers located Jeremy Dusseault, 27, from 6 Ellesworth Avenue in Cambridge, in a garage attached to the residence in the process of striking the windshield of a motor vehicle with a shovel. Further investigation revealed an open screen on the window at the top of the fire escape as well as a window that had been forced open to the basement. Additionally, damage was found to a spotlight on the front of the building as well as damage to a parking meter on the sidewalk directly in front of the building. Dusseault was placed into custody and charged with Breaking and Entering in the Nighttime, Malicious Destruction of Property Over $250, and Malicious Damage to a Motor Vehicle.
