Cambridge Police respond to an establishment on Massachusetts Avenue. A male later identified as Diego Mata, 22, 660 Washington Street 20F in Boston, was swearing and attempting to fight bar staff. Witnesses stated Mata had taken a bottle of alcohol and drank it. After attempting to leave the bar without paying, a bouncer escorted Mata back to the establishment when Matta punched the bouncer in the face. He was arrested on multiple charges, including Disorderly Conduct, Assault & Battery, and Larceny Under $250.

Several units from the Cambridge Police, Cambridge Fire and PRO Ambulance were dispatched and responded to the area of Inman Square for a reported pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries. The operator of the motor vehicle was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a marked crosswalk.

An office located under a residence building was broken into by an unknown person. Three laptops (valued at approximately $2,100) were removed. No damage was reported as it appears keys may have been used to gain entry. The incident happened sometime between 5/6/15 at 2:30 p.m. and 5/7/15 at 6:30 a.m.

A cyclist riding to work in Cambridge reports a motor vehicle brushed his arm with its side mirror as it passed the cyclist. The operator of the motor vehicle failed to stop and the victim followed the motor vehicle until it stopped. The operator of the motor vehicle stopped at an address in which he appeared to be doing construction work. When confronted by the cyclist, another person came out of the construction area and threatened to harm the cyclist. No injuries were reported.

Maha Chamseddine, 39, 153 Pleasant Street in Watertown, was placed under arrest and charged with Larceny over $250. Chamseddine was observed by loss prevention officers placing merchandise into her bag and attempting to leave the store without paying for it. The value of the merchandise was $367.97.

Cambridge Police conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle after a query of the registration revealed that the vehicle owner had a non-renewable suspended license. The operator was the registered owner of the vehicle and was subsequently issued a Criminal Application Complaint for Operation after Suspension of License.
