A property owner reports that he observed an unknown male inside the kitchen of a newly renovated unoccupied property that he owns. The male suspect fled the scene shortly before police arrival.

A Somerville resident was stopped on Prospect Street operating a motor vehicle after she was observed failing to stop for a red light at the intersection of Prospect Street and Hampshire Street. The driver advised police that her license was suspended and a license query confirmed that it was. The driver was issued a criminal citation.

A resident of an apartment building in Cambridge reports an unknown person removed two shirt from a mail package addressed to her in the lobby of the building. This occurred sometime between 5/20 at 5 p.m. and 5/21 at 11:50 a.m.

MEMORIAL DR
Rosemary Taverna, 37, 27 Charles Street in Watertown, was placed under arrest for Breaking & Entering Depository, Larceny Over $250, and Fraudulently Procuring Food or Accommodations for Credit. Taverna was observed by witnesses breaking and entering into multiple lockers at a hotel sports club on Memorial Drive. Taverna also stole a $2,500 bicycle from the hotels garage, which was later recovered by the victim. Taverna and another male initially entered the hotel together and defrauded the innkeeper after eating breakfast and leaving without paying the bill. The whereabouts of this male are unknown at this time.

Theodore Meserve, 55, 45 Loomis Street in Malden, was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle after Suspension and Failure to Stop. A white Ford Eco-van was observed running a red light at the corner of Massachusetts Avenue at Sidney Street. Meserve was the operator of the vehicle.

Cambridge Police responded to a business on CambridgeSide Place after being informed that an employee was in possession of a firearm. The employee was identified and stopped outside of the business, but a firearm was not located in his possession or in the surrounding area.
