ESSEX ST
Cambridge Police arrested Yerlin Delacruz, 29, 1 Newtown Court in Cambridge, after he was charged with Failure to Stop for a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, and Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. After he was observed by police running red lights, Delacruz fled on a motor scooter, then on foot and was later apprehended.

Cambridge Police responded to an establishment in Harvard Square to meet with the victim of an assault. The victim reported being struck by an unknown suspect and sustained a minor injury to the back of his head. The victim was eventually transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. There was no description of a suspect(s) or any witnesses at this time.

A resident of Lakeview Avenue reported that on 6/30/15 between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. some unknown person(s) entered her home through unknown means. Stolen in this incident were two white gold wedding rings and possibly a camera.

OXFORD ST
Cambridge Police responded to an Oxford Street address where a motor vehicle struck a pedestrian. Upon arrival, officers spoke with both the operator of the motor vehicle in question and the victim of the accident. The operator stated the victim involved ran into the passenger side of his motor vehicle as he was proceeding down Oxford Street from the direction of Harvard Square. The victim stated she attempted to cross Oxford Street when she was struck by a motor vehicle and suffered minor injuries.
