HAMPSHIRE ST
Cambridge Police along with EMTs responded to Hampshire Street and Inman Street after a motor vehicle and a bicyclist collided at the intersection. The bicyclist sustained minor non-life threatening injuries due to being knocked off her bike. The bicyclist was evaluated on-scene by EMTs but refused any further treatment. Both the operator and bicyclist stated that they had a green light before entering the intersection.

A resident of Cambridge reports an unknown person stole several computer items from his apartment bedroom. There were no signs of a break-in. The victim has two roommates and a third that left, but still has keys. The incident happened on 7/14/15 sometime between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m.

COLUMBIA ST
Members of Cambridge Police’s Special Investigation Unit placed Brandon Travis, 23, 10 Columbia Terrace in Cambridge, under arrest for the Possession of Class D with the intent to distribute and Drug Violation within 100 Feet of a Park, which is located at Columbia and Washington Streets. Detectives conducting surveillance in the area of Bishop Allen Drive and Columbia Street observed a motor vehicle, which facilitated further investigation. Travis was observed meeting with two unknown males. An investigative stop was initiated and the defendant was found to be in possession of approximately 56 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, and $1,016.00 in U.S. currency.
