Cambridge Police responded to a Central Square establishment for a report of a larceny in progress. The reporting person witnessed a white male wearing cargo shorts and a backpack steal her bike from the bike rack by smashing the combination lock with a mallet type object.

A witness reported observing a pick-up truck strike an unattended, parked motor vehicle, causing significant damage to the driver side front quarter panel and bumper. The pick-up truck did not stop and continued down Thorndike Street. The witness followed the suspect who was later identified by Cambridge Police.
