A man reported his motor vehicle was broken into by an unknown person(s) and a bag was removed. The vehicle was unlocked while parked. No damage was reported.

A resident of Leonard Avenue reported that an unknown black male had entered her residence through an unlocked door. The suspect fled as the reporting person came down the stairs. Nothing appears to be missing at this time.

BROADWAY

Officers responded to Broadway to follow up on a past break-in from the night prior. The reporting person explained that while she attempted to take a bath she found an unknown man hiding in the corner of her shower. The suspect was subsequently caught and identified as Cornelius Reed, 33, of 794 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston, and was arrested and charged with Breaking and Entering Daytime for Felony.

A Sixth Street resident reports that sometime during the night his apartment was broken into by unknown means while he was outside of apartment. There were no signs of any forced-entry. Victim reports a wrist watch and several dollars’ worth of U.S. coins were stolen.

It was reported that an unknown individual had opened an unlocked gym locker and taken a wallet along with a smartphone. The suspect made purchases at various locations with the stolen debit and credit cards.

J Nicholas Leppo, 20, of 17 Woodland Road, East Walpole, was placed under arrest and charged with Vandalizing of Property. He was observed by a Cambridge Police officer vandalizing a door to a private business in Central Square.
