Alexander Brown, 21, of 49 Homes Avenue, Dorchester, was arrested for attempted Breaking and Entering in the Nighttime and Resisting Arrest after he was observed by officers attempting to force open a window to a Harvard University dorm room. He immediately refused to stop for Police and was taken into custody after a foot chase.

Officers responded to Jay Street to document a report of malicious destruction to a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting person who stated that an unknown suspect smashed out the rear window of his motor vehicle with a brick while it parked in his driveway.

The victim obtained further evidence that proves her co-worker used her personal information and changed her bank card pin number, which the suspect reportedly used to make a fraudulent purchase at a supermarket in the amount of $133.

Jose Guevara, 32, 81 Waltham Street, Boston, was placed under arrest for Operating Under the Influence of Liquor, Operating Under the Influence of Drugs, Leaving the Scene of Property Damage (2x), and Operating After Suspension after a motor vehicle accident. Upon further investigation of Guevara, it was found out that he has a warrant out of South Boston Municipal Court for Strangulation and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and another outstanding warrant out of Malden District Court for Breaking and Entering and Trespassing.

Tiffany Savage, 42, 240 Albany Street, Cambridge, was arrested for Larceny from a Motor Vehicle in the Daytime for a Felony. Savage was observed by a vehicle owner, inside the victim’s vehicle, stealing her change, and rummaging through the rest of the vehicle for any other items to take. It was also discovered at booking that Savage has a warrant out of Framingham District Court for two counts of Assault and Battery.

John Burke, 49, of 19 Hermaine Avenue, Dedham, was placed under arrest and charged with Breaking and Entering in the Nighttime for Felony and Trespassing. Police witnessed him attempt to break and enter into a residence, shattering the window with a metal garden rod.
