Cambridge Police responded to a Massachusetts Avenue liquor store for a report of a shoplifter being detained by store employees. Upon arrival, officers determined that the offender placed three bottles of coffee liquor valued at $52.97 into a shopping bag and attempted to leave the store. Store employees stopped the individual after he by passed all points of sale without making an attempt to purchase the items. The suspect was trespassed from the store and a criminal application was filed against him charging him with Shoplifting by Concealment.
