08/07/2015 16:45 INCIDENT 15005894 LARCENY FROM PERSON c266 S25	CAMBRIDGESIDE PL A Cambridge resident reported her cell phone stolen. The victim stated that she was in the food court of a Cambridge mall when the phone was stolen.

08/07/2015 18:55 INCIDENT 15005902 THREAT TO COMMIT CRIME c275 S2	MASSACHUSETTS AVE An employee of a Cambridge establishment reported that a past customer called the bar’s phone and made threats to and insulted the employee.
08/07/2015 19:23 INCIDENT 15005899 MOTOR VEH, MALICIOUS DAMAGE TO c266 S28	FIRST ST A Somerville resident reported his motor vehicle had been damaged while it was parked in the garage at First Street. The owner parked the vehicle in the garage on 8/6 and when he returned on 8/7 he noticed that both side view mirrors had been broken as well as both windshield wipers.
08/07/2015 21:01 INCIDENT 15005904 MISC. REPORT TYPE	BISHOP ALLEN DR A call came in for a pressure cooker on the sidewalk on Norfolk Street near Lot #5. Cambridge Police and Fire units responded to the scene. The item was examined by a member of the Cambridge Police Explosive Ordnance Unit and deemed to be safe. The item was subsequently removed from the scene.

08/08/2015 00:18 INCIDENT 15005907 ANIMAL REGISTRATION BY FALSE PRETENSE c266 S93	BROADWAY A Cambridge resident reported that back in May, a known female requested to care for the family's dog while they traveled. As of this date, the female has refused to return the dog to the owner, and attempted to have the dog registered with false information.
08/08/2015 00:50 INCIDENT 15005909 BURGLARY, UNARMED c266 S15	OTIS ST A Cambridge resident reported that two unknown males gained entry to her residence on Otis Street while the she was sleeping. The suspects then fled when she awoke.
08/08/2015 07:30 INCIDENT 15005910 DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY +$250, MALICIOUS c266 S12	HARVARD ST A resident of Harvard Street reported that sometime between 8/7 and 8/8, an unknown person(s) damaged his motor vehicle while it was parked on Harvard Street near Norfolk Street. Scratches were visible all over the motor vehicle and the driver’s side mirror was broken.
08/08/2015 08:43 INCIDENT 15005912 DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY -$250, MALICIOUS c266 S127	COLUMBIA ST A resident of Cambridge reported threatening graffiti messages written in pencil on a wall inside of a Cambridge church. The reporting person believes the graffiti may have occurred sometime between 8/6 and 8/8.
08/08/2015 08:52 INCIDENT 15005911 MOTOR VEH, LARCENY OF c266 S28	CLAY ST A Florida resident reported that their motor vehicle was stolen from their parent’s driveway sometime between 8/7 and 8/8. The vehicle was recovered shortly after parked a few streets over.
08/08/2015 08:52 INCIDENT 15005914 MOTOR VEH, LARCENY OF c266 S28	DUDLEY ST A resident of Cambridge reported that their motor vehicle was stolen from their driveway sometime between 8/7 and 8/8.
08/08/2015 09:14 INCIDENT 15005913 MOTOR VEH, LARCENY OF c266 S28	HARVEY ST A Connecticut resident reported that his motor vehicle was stolen from in front of Harvey Street sometime in the previous night.
08/08/2015 09:54 INCIDENT 15005918 B&E NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY c266 S16	JACKSON ST A person visiting Cambridge reported their motor vehicle was broken into and several items of value were removed. No damage was reported.
08/08/2015 14:08 INCIDENT 15005921 LARCENY FROM BUILDING c266 S20	MASSACHUSETTS AVE The owner of a Massachusetts Avenue business reported that he and his employee left their laptops inside the office between 10:45am and 1:30pm, on the second floor of the office building. When they returned, they found the office door closed, but unlocked, and the two laptops were missing.
08/08/2015 15:08 INCIDENT 15005923 ASSAULT W/DANGEROUS WEAPON c265 S15B	BRATTLE SQ Cambridge Police responded to a store in Harvard Square on a report of an altercation that occurred at a Harvard Square store between an employee and a customer. Following the argument, the employee brandished a knife and chased the other man. After a pushing match ensued the victim fell to the ground and was kicked once by the store employee.

08/08/2015 17:16 INCIDENT 15005925 LARCENY UNDER $250 c266 S30	PUTNAM AVE Sean Mahoney, 44, 240 Albany Street, Cambridge, was placed under arrest for Larceny Under $250. Mahoney was observed by Cambridge Police officers cutting a bike lock with a pair of bolt cutters and gaining possession of a bicycle.

08/08/2015 21:28 INCIDENT 15005927 LARCENY UNDER $250 c266 S30	AUBURN PK An Auburn Park resident reported the larceny of a bicycle from her residence.
08/09/2015 00:42 INCIDENT 15005934 ASSAULT c265 S13A	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Officers responded to a bar in the Central Square area for a report of a fight. Upon further investigating the scene it was determined that a bar patron was acting rude and hostile towards bar staff and when he refused to be escorted out of the establishment, he bit two employees.
08/09/2015 02:04 INCIDENT 15005932 A&B ON POLICE OFFICER c265 S13D	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Cambridge Police responded to Massachusetts Avenue for reports of a fight. One of the officers responding went to go break up the fight when a heavyset male turned around and punched her on the right side of the face and she tripped and fell to the ground. As she was on the ground a second male kicked her in the back. The officer was evaluated by professional ambulance.

08/09/2015 11:44 INCIDENT 15005939 LARCENY OVER $250 c266 S30	FRANKLIN ST A Harvard Street resident reported that his cell phone was stolen from his bag while he was playing soccer in a park on Broadway.
08/09/2015 14:10 INCIDENT 15005941 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	CAMBRIDGE ST Cambridge Police took a Hit & Run report from a Marlborough resident who stated that a vehicle backed into his parked motorcycle on Cambridge Street and then left the scene without making themselves known. The motorcycle was knocked over and sustained damage to both sides.

The victim had inadvertently left the cell phone at her place of employment last night and upon return this morning, discovered that it had been stolen.

08/09/2015 18:28 INCIDENT 15005947 THREAT TO COMMIT CRIME c275 S2	COLUMBIA ST Cambridge Police officers responded to a report of a disturbance on Columbia Street. The reporting person stated that a car drove up to him and an unknown male got out and made threats to him, and drove off.

08/09/2015 19:06 INCIDENT 15005949 MISC. REPORT TYPE	FROST ST A Frost Street resident reported being attacked by a neighborhood dog. The resident was not bitten but she had to fight off the dog.
08/09/2015 19:59 INCIDENT 15005954 LARCENY UNDER $250 c266 S30	BRATTLE ST A Brattle Street resident reported that while she was at a supermarket an unknown person(s) stole her HP placard out of her car.

08/09/2015 20:44 ARREST 15005955 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Darwin May, 55, 39 Boylston Street, Boston, was arrested on two warrants out of Quincy District Court for Receiving Stolen Property (x2) and for a Miscellaneous Municipal Ordinance Violation.
08/09/2015 22:23 INCIDENT 15005957 LARCENY OVER $250 c266 S30	KELLY RD Cambridge Police responded to Kelly Road for a report of a larceny of three bicycles that were stolen out of the victim’s backyard.
08/09/2015 23:15 INCIDENT 15005958 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Officers responded to Lot 5 in Cambridge for a Hit and Run report. The reporting person stated that her vehicle was parked in the lot when it was struck by another unknown vehicle.
