Giovannie Ramirez, 35, 581 Windsor Street, Cambridge, was arrested and charged with Assault by means of a Dangerous Weapon. Ramirez was observed by a witness yelling at an individual while holding two machetes in his hands. The victim of the alleged crime also confirmed what the witness observed and stated to police that he was in fear for his life during the incident.

A Cambridge Police Officer responded to Harvard Square to assist Professional Ambulance with an intoxicated male. During the course of treatment, the individual refused to be evaluated and displayed several signs of harmful behavior. After the individual was advised to let the EMTs evaluate him due to his level of intoxication, the individual then struck an EMT on the left arm while the EMT was attempting to treat him. This physically combative individual also resisted arrest by refusing to comply with the officer's orders to place his hands behind his back and then stiffening his arms. Adalberto Morales, 51, 123 Sycamore Street, Belmont, was placed under arrest at the location and will be charged with Assault & Battery on Ambulance Personnel, Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest.

Angel Dejesus, 29, 205 Middlesex Street, Lowell, was arrested at Massachusetts Avenue and charged with Receiving Stolen Property Under $250. Detectives observed Dejesus steal a bicycle which was locked to a bicycle rack outside of the CVS in Central Square. He was subsequently stopped and arrested.
