MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Walter Burke, 42, 190 Cranberry Highway in Orleans, was arrested at Mass Avenue for Disorderly Person. Burke was upset about work being done on a building he assumed was done without a permit. Burke was threatening, swearing loudly, taking a fighting stance, and waving his arms wildly on a public sidewalk near a bus stop and high school. Passing vehicles stopped or slowed, pedestrians passing by had to be escorted around Burke because they were in fear. Burke stated that he had killed or assaulted people and police officers in the past and would do it again.

A West Roxbury resident reports that on 9/15/16, while at work, his road bike was stolen from a bike rack located inside the Kendall Square Complex. The victim states that the suspect removed his bike after cutting the wire-lock that was securing the bicycle to a bike rack located inside complex.

MAGAZINE ST
Members of the Cambridge Police Special Investigations Unit arrested Omar Medina-Santiago, 28, 11 Abott Street in Dorchester, at Putnam Avenue and Magazine Street and charged him with Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class A Substance - Heroin, Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class B Substance - Cocaine, and Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substances Act. Also arrested and charged with Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substances Act were Jonas Moses-Gilson, 26, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge; Keith Waddie, 54, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge; and Andrea Koutis, 33, 67 Foster Street in Arlington. Moses-Gilson, Waddie, and Koutis were seen acting in a manner consistent with drug activity. Moses-Gilson then entered a motor vehicle occupied by Medina-Santiago and quickly exited and returned to Waddie and Koutis. Upon being stopped, Moses-Gilson swallowed whatever drugs he had in his mouth. Medina-Santiago was stopped and found to be in possession of 20 bags of heroin, 6 bags of cocaine and $1775.00 cash.

A resident of Minneapolis was stopped for a motor vehicle infraction at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Beech Street. The vehicle had a suspended registration and the operator had a suspended license. The owner will be summoned to court for allowing an unlicensed person to operate and for allowing an unregistered motor vehicle to be operated. The vehicle was towed.

Cambridge Police responded to Landsdowne Street for a past unarmed robbery report. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the reporting person who stated today at approximately 11 a.m., two unknown males approached her as she was walking down River Street pushed her to the ground and stole her wristlet along with her cell phone and cash.

Cambridge Police were dispatched to a store on Mass Avenue for a shoplifting. The store employee witnessed the suspect steal two bottles of red wine and flee the store. The suspect was recognized by the officers on scene for specifically stealing two bottles of red wine over the last week. His name was queried with ECC, which revealed a warrant. John Repetto, 54 and homeless, was placed under arrest for Shoplifting by Asportation.

Cambridge Police were patrolling a shopping plaza when Stephen Michael Culbertson, 32, 10 High Street in Somerville, assaulted an officer questioning him. He was arrested for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. Upon further investigation, it was determined that Culbertson had multiple warrants out of Concord District Court, including larceny of a motor vehicle, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of property damage.
