A resident of Broadway reported being robbed while walking home on Harvard Street around 12:30 a.m. on 10/7/2015. The victim said two unidentified white males pushed him to the ground and took multiple items from him.

OTIS ST
While conducting tow operations for street cleaning, Cambridge Police observed an expired registration sticker on a rear license plate of a motor vehicle. After a status check, the registration was revoked due to lack of insurance. The vehicle was towed. The registered owner was mailed a summons for having an uninsured and unregistered vehicle on a public way and issued a citation.

A Somerville resident entered the Cambridge Police Department to report that an unknown person opened up an account at a CambridgeSide Place business and purchased a ring, using her name and social security card.

FOLLEN ST
Officers responded to the area of Follen Street after a general broadcast of the Harvard Police chasing a man with a knife after a fight. Multiple Cambridge Police, Harvard Police and Transit Police officers responded to the area. A homeless male was found in the backyard of a residence with severe lacerations to his head. Due to his injuries and altered mental status, the individual was uncooperative and unable to give details of the incident. The homeless male was transported via Pro Ambulance to Beth Israel Hospital. Harvard Police took
Gabriel Cardona, 25, homeless, into custody on warrants unrelated to this incident.

WHITE ST
The manager at a liquor store in the Porter Square area called police to report a shoplifting. The description of a person involved was provided. Officers arrived and met the caller and also the involved party. Another male that was not on scene, and had actually conducted the crime, was not identified. The store has video surveillance.

A resident of Cambridge reports her package was stolen from the front lobby of their apartment building. The incident happened sometime between 2:55 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.

FIRST ST
A Brookline resident reported that, while his vehicle was parked in the area of Spring Street and First Street, an unknown person entered his vehicle in an unknown manner and stole a backpack, which contained a laptop, glasses and books. There was no visible damage to the vehicle.
