Cambridge Police responded to a gas station on Magazine Street to investigate a report of a front motion burglar alarm activation. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the window of the front door to the service station had been smashed. $60.00 in scratch tickets and an undetermined amount of money from the cash drawer were taken from the gas station.

A Cambridge resident reported that a male was banging on the door and putting people in fear. The man was not a resident and refused to leave. Cambridge Police arrived on the scene and located the male on the side of the building. The male was intoxicated and verbally abusive towards police. Officers informed the male he would be placed in protective custody. In an effort to get up, the man turned to fight officers and was taken to the ground. As he landed on the ground he wrapped his arms around one officer’s legs in order to trip the officer. Kevin McBride, 45, 5 Cambridge Park Drive, was arrested and charged with Disturbing the Peace, Resisting Arrest, and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.

Sorathana Khlieng, 22, 81 Bay Road, Revere, was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. Khlieng was observed by officers screaming at a group of individuals. When Police Officers attempted to take him into custody for his conduct, he refused to be cuffed. Khlieng tried to escape from officers as he pushed, shoved, and elbowed officers out of his way. While attempting to get Khlieng cuffed, he kicked the arresting officer numerous times in the feet and shin area.
