The owner of a Cambridge business reported that an unknown suspect sprayed
graffiti on the side of her building. The vandalism occurred sometime between
December 24th, 2015 and January 19th, 2016.

Cambridge Police responded to a Cambridge financial institution in regards to
fraudulent activity. Officers spoke with the bank manager, who stated that Dyaunnhdre
Oliveira, 22, of 498 Blue Hill Avenue, Dorchester, MA, opened a bank account
yesterday with $20 and was given a debit card. Later that day, Mr. Oliveira
deposited several bad checks into this account. Mr. Oliveira then withdrew
several thousand dollars from this account at multiple banks over the course
of the past two days using the debit card. Officers arrested Mr. Oliveira at
the bank after he attempted to make another fraudulent withdrawal.

Cambridge Police responded to a Cambridge Hotel for a report of suspicious
bags left by a guest who had already checked out. No threats were made, and
there were no other suspicious circumstances. The manager stated that they would
feel more comfortable if the officers checked the bags out before they took possession
of the property. Police brought the K9 in and swept the room. The K9 didn't
show change of behavior. The hotel took possession of the property with the
intention of finding the owner and returning the bags to him.
