Cambridge Police were flagged down in regard to a disturbance on Norfolk
Street in Central Square. Upon arrival, officers witnessed Joseph Haynes, 31,
of 172 Cherry & Webb Lane in Westport Point, kick another male who was
lying on the ground. Haynes was placed under arrest and charged with assault
and battery with a dangerous weapon.

$2,600 by an unknown party. She sent a check to this suspect after she
received a check for $2,894.90, which was supposed to be an advanced payment.
The victim believes that the $2,894.90 check was fraudulent, and she had
already deposited the check into a bank in Arlington.
