Cambridge Police Recover Blank Shell Casings After Gunshots Reported

The Cambridge Police recovered three blank shell casings after responding to a gunshots call and anonymous e-mail tip tonight at approximately 6:44 p.m. in the area of Windsor Street and Broadway. 

The caller and e-mailer both reported hearing multiple shots and a vehicle driving away, but no description of the vehicle or a possible suspect(s) was provided.  There are currently no reported injuries or victims. 

The investigation into this incident is ongoing.

Cambridge Police previously alerted citizens of the recovery of a blank shell casing in the area of Harvard Street and Davis Street on Tuesday, February 2nd at approximately 6:45 p.m. Residents reported hearing a motor vehicle screeching and speeding away after the gunshots were fired. On Monday, February 22nd at approximately 9:40 p.m., officers with the Cambridge Police recovered two blank shell casings in the area of Windsor Street and Harvard Street. The Cambridge Police continue to actively investigate these incidents.
