Cambridge Police & Public Health Department To Participate in National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day April 30

In collaboration with the Cambridge Public Health Department, the Cambridge Police Department will be participating in National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 30. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., both departments encourage residents to bring unused or unwanted prescription drugs to the Cambridge Police Department, which is located in the Robert W. Healy Public Safety Facility at 125 Sixth Street in Cambridge.

For those who cannot attend the event, any unused medications may be deposited anonymously 24-hours a day, 7 days a week in the drop box located in the first floor lobby of the police station’s Records Unit.

The following items will be accepted:

  • Prescription & Over-the-Counter Medications
  • Medication Samples
  • Vitamins
  • Veterinary Medications
  • Narcotics
