Cambridge Police Honors Officers at 14th Annual Awards Ceremony

Hundreds of friends, family members and city dignitaries gathered in the Kresge Auditorium at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology earlier this month to honor the admirable work conducted by sworn officers and personnel.

More than 25 awards were presented at the ceremony, which was highlighted by a celebration of Commissioner Haas’ service to the City of Cambridge and included the presentation of lifesaving awards to 13 different officers. 

Other notable awards were presented to: 

  • Officer Dion S. DiNatale, 2015 Patrol Officer of the Year
  • Detective Michael J. Logan, 2015 Detective of the Year
  • Sergeant David M. Brown, 2015 Superior Officer of the Year
  • Meghan M. LaMonica and Rebecca R. Leonard, 2015 Non-Sworn Employees of the Year
