A Utah resident had his laptop stolen while he was in the lobby of a Hotel at Broadway. The victim walked away from a table in the lobby and, via CCTV, an Hispanic male in his twenties is seen walking over to the table, taking the laptop and quickly exiting the lobby on the Main Street side of the building.

An Everett resident reported that an unknown person struck her motor vehicle while it was parked on Cambridge Street, causing damage to the driver’s side mirror. The incident reportedly occurred sometime between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on 6/6/16.

An employee of a City of Cambridge school reports that between 11:15 a.m. and 11:25 a.m. they were threatened by the parent of one of their students. This parent left the area before the arrival of the police.

A Cambridge resident was issued a criminal citation after he was stopped operating a motor vehicle on Amory Street in the wrong direction (one way street) and a license query revealed he has no license to operate a vehicle.

ALEWIFE BROOK PKWY
Officers responded to the area of Alewife Brook Parkway for a 911 silent call. While headed to that location, ECC updated the call as a motor vehicle crash with injuries at a parking lot at Alewife Brook Parkway. Upon arrival, ambulance was on location and the victim was getting ready to be transported to a local hospital for an evaluation.

Cambridge Police arrested Mark Simon, 25, 31 Maolis Road in Nahant, for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration, operating a motor vehicle without valid insurance, a warrant and several civil motor vehicle infractions.
