The Cambridge Police are currently investigating a number of gunshots that were fired overnight in the 400 block of Massachusetts Avenue as late night establishments were closing.
At approximately 2:10 a.m. this morning, officers responded to 450 Massachusetts Avenue after several shots were fired in front of the Monroe night club. One female suffered a gunshot wound to her lower leg. She was treated on-scene and taken to a local hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries. Multiple Cambridge Police units searched the area and did locate one firearm at 415 Massachusetts Avenue. A suspect has not been identified at this time.
All evidence from the scene has been secured and taken back to the Cambridge Police Department.
