A resident of Somerville was summonsed to court for failing to stop at a stop sign and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. The driver was found to be operating his motor vehicle with a suspended license after he was stopped for failing to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Kimball Street and Columbus Avenue.

Members of the Cambridge Police Special Investigations Unit arrested Ricky White, 58, 820 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge, and charged him with Distribution of a Class B Substance and Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substances Act. Also arrested and charged with Possession of a Class B Substance and Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substances Act was James Roberts, 52, 315 Carger Street in Revere. Detectives on surveillance observed the two engage in a street level drug transaction where White provided crack cocaine to Roberts. The incident occurred on Massachusetts Avenue at Sellers Street.

The driver was observed by officers, on a public way, operating a motor vehicle whose registration was revoked, and insurance cancelled. Their license to operate a motor vehicle in MA is suspended.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE

Members of the Cambridge Police Special Investigation Unit received information of a cocaine delivery that was going to occur at Massachusetts Avenue. Denise Barton, 34, 146 Blue Hill Avenue in Roxbury, was placed under arrest for Possession and Distribution of a Cocaine and U.S. currency, a Newport cigarette box, and Samsung cellular phone were processed and submitted into Evidence.
