The
Cambridge Police are actively seeking to identify a suspect who reportedly
robbed a local Harvard Square business of $340 in cash. On July 13th
at approximately 2:45 p.m., while an employee of a fast food restaurant located
in the area of 1300 Massachusetts Avenue was assisting a customer, the employee
opened the cash register to complete the purchase. The customer then pulled up
the front of his shirt and showed what appeared to be a black handgun in the
waistband of his jeans and demanded that the employee give him all the money.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20 years old, 5’9”
tall, thin with a muscular build. He had a tattoo on the inside of his left
forearm that is believed to have spelled out “Loyalty” with some designs around
it. He was last seen wearing a red baseball hat, blue polo-type shirt with
white lettering on the front and blue jeans.
The Cambridge Police are actively investigating this incident and ask that
