CONCORD AVE
A resident of Concord Avenue reported an attempted flim flam after two suspicious males knocked on her door and stated they would repave her driveway with left over asphalt. Suspects were going to charge the resident $2,000 for the job. The suspects fled when the resident stated she would call her son for advice.

A Dorchester resident reports that sometime between 8/21 - 8/24 her moped helmet was stolen from in front of Monsignor O'Brien Highway after an unknown suspect cut the helmet's strap that was securing it to the chain lock securing the moped. The moped was not stolen nor damaged.

BROADWAY
An Eighth Street resident operating his motor vehicle on Binney Street and Sixth Street contacted Cambridge Police after he was side-swiped by an out-of-state vehicle, which continued traveling down Binney Street without ever stopping to exchange insurance information. The victim was not injured. Cambridge Police searched the immediate area for the suspect motor vehicle with negative results.

A resident of Washington Avenue reported that while walking on Huron Avenue towards Raymond on August 23, 2016 at 11:20 p.m., she was struck in the leg by an egg. The resident believes the egg came from a residence on Huron Avenue. An injury was not sustained.

LICENSE SUSPENDED FOR OUI, OPER MV WITH c90 S23

COTTAGE ST
Neru Cloyd, 27, 190 Squantum Street in Quincy, was placed under arrest for Speeding, Operation of a Motor Vehicle After License Suspension for O.U.I., Operating Unregistered Motor Vehicle on Public Way, and Refusing to Provide True Identification to Police Officer after he was observed operating a motor vehicle on River Street in excess of the posted 25 MPH posted speed limit. After being stopped for the motor vehicle infraction, Cloyd stated he did not have any identification on him and provided a false name, date of birth, and social security number when requested to provide his driver's license. After being placed under arrest, a wallet was discovered in Cloyd's pocket that contained his true Massachusetts Identification Card. The vehicle that Cloyd was operating had no MA RMV registration plate or moped sticker and was determined to be unregistered. During the booking process, it was discovered that  his Massachusetts Driver's License was suspended for O.U.I.
