Units responded to Alewife T Access Road for a report of a hit-and-run property damage at approximately 6:30 p.m. The suspect vehicle could not be located and a crash report was filed.

FIRST ST
Bradley Garcia, 26, 17 Court Street in Boston, was placed under arrest outside of a local mall. Garcia was observed via CCTV at a department store grabbing multiple men's sweaters from the clothing racks. He entered an elevator with an unknown white female. While inside the elevator, Garcia and the female stuffed the sweaters into a bag she was carrying. Garcia and the female repeated the same process on the third floor of the store. While on the third floor, Garcia walked towards the exit carrying three men's sweaters in his arms. He slowly approached the exit and left the store passing all points of purchase. Garcia was approached by loss prevention officers outside of the store. He dropped the sweaters and ran from loss prevention personnel. Garcia was apprehended after a brief chase on the Canal Park side of the mall. The total value of the sweaters that Garcia exited the store with was $253.50. Garcia was placed under arrest for the above offense.
