SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE / EOD INVESTIGATION | BISHOP ALLEN DR
Cambridge Police were dispatched to Bishop Allen Drive for a unattended backpack left on the porch. Upon arrival they were told there were no threats made or any other suspicious activity involving the backpack. Cambridge police took out the K9 and swept the surrounding area and presented the backpack. The K9 didn't show a change of behavior or alert on the backpack. They opened the backpack and it was empty with no identification on who it belonged to. CPD disposed of the backpack in the proper manner. |

Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Massachusetts Avenue. As a result of the stop, a Salem resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for attaching a fraudulent inspection sticker that was not properly issued to the motor vehicle by the Registry of Motor Vehicles and several other motor vehicle infractions. |
