Officers were dispatched to a hotel on Sidney Street for a report of theft of property from two rooms. Upon investigation, it was determined that no property was stolen from one of the rooms, but a Nintendo DS was stolen from the other room.

A Dorchester resident was issued a criminal summons for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Excessive Non-Factory Tint after the vehicle he was operating on Massachusetts Avenue was stopped for excessive tint. A check of the windows revealed the tint was a dark after-market film applied to the inside of the windows.

Cambridge Police received a call from a Griswold Street resident stating that he had received a suspicious box from Canada delivered by UPS. The resident further stated that he was nervous and thought it may be something dangerous. Cambridge Police EOD and Cambridge Fire Rescue responded. An officer and his K9 partner checked the package and determined it was not a threat.
