The Cambridge Police Department today announced they have made an arrest of a Cambridge resident, who was allegedly involved in a series of unarmed burglaries.

Pringgo Husin, 24, 1 Leighton Street in Cambridge, was arrested yesterday for Unarmed Burglary after Cambridge Police served an arrest warrant at his residence, where officers located items believed to be taken in several residential breaks. One of the breaks occurred at a Leighton Street apartment on May 3, 2017, in which a female resident was home in her bedroom late at night and she heard an unknown person open her bedroom door. At that point, she screamed and the suspect fled from the apartment. Video surveillance of the break-in is believed to depict Husin as the suspect, as well as the suspect in another breaking and entering on April 27, 2017 in the same building.

After being taken into custody, Husin acknowledged entering several Cambridge apartments without the resident’s knowledge or consent over the period of the last two years. Husin is expected to be arraigned today in Cambridge District Court.
