BROADWAY
Daniel Callahan, 29, 11 Marlborough Road in Woburn, rear ended a motor vehicle on a public way in Cambridge. When officers approached Callahan, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his persons. Callahan also possessed glassy eyes and slurred speech. Callahan was given standard field sobriety tests. It was determined that Callahan operated a motor vehicle on a public way while intoxicated on alcohol. Callahan was transported to the Cambridge Police department where he was booked and processed in the usual manner.

Antonio Hill, 48, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, was arrested in Central Square for Drinking in public/possessing an open container of alcohol in public. Officers observed Hill holding a brown paper bag he believed to contain an open container of an alcoholic beverage. That suspicion was confirmed when officers approached Hill. When he noticed officers, he threw the bag in a flower bed. Officers picked up that bag and found an open container of Malt Liquor, which was half full. Hill was placed under arrest with no incident.

A Cambridge resident was summonsed to court for malicious destruction to a motor vehicle and unarmed robbery. Gallo was summonsed after he punched the tail light of a motor vehicle causing it to break and then stole $84.71 worth of merchandise from a nearby pharmacy while putting the loss prevention officer in fear that he was going to be physically harmed by Gallo.

Paul Biggins, 57, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, was arrested in Central Square for Drinking in public/possessing an open container of alcohol in public. Officers observed Biggins raise a brown paper bag believed to contain an open container of an alcoholic beverage to his mouth and take a drink. Officers approached Biggins and the brown bag did contain a 24 ounce can of an alcoholic beverage.

Following an investigation in the Cambridge Common, members of the Cambridge Police Special Investigations Unit arrested Francis Haugh, 38, 78 Salmon Street in West Roxbury, and charged him with Possession of a Class B Substance - Methamphetamine after he was found to be in possession of a meth pipe and two baggies containing suspected methamphetamine.
