SIDNEY ST
ECC dispatched CPD units to Sydney Street on a report of shoplifting. Officers spoke with loss prevention who reported a female had taken three bags of frozen shrimp, exited the store with no effort to pay. Loss prevention located her outside the store. The female was identified on video as being part of a group who had stolen shrimp for several weeks. The female identified as Danielle Pollard, 34, 4 Cygnet Street in Brighton, arrested and charged with Shoplifting by Asportation.

Cambridge Police were dispatched to a business on Mass Ave for the report of a male entering the store and stealing the tip jar. With video footage of the party from the café, officers were able to identify the party in Carl Barron Plaza. The suspect fled down Magazine Street where a chase occurred. The suspect cut through multiple yards with many residents put in fear. Officers were unable to locate that individual, but were able to identify the party via a tip from the suspect's friend. The Cambridge resident was summonsed for Larceny Under and Disturbing the Peace.

BRATTLE ST
Cambridge Police responded to Palmer Street for a fight in progress. As a result of the investigation, Rolando Suarez, 25, homeless, was arrested and charged with Unarmed Robbery, Assault and Battery, and Strangulation. Tremain Haywood, 27, homeless, was arrested and charged with Unarmed Robbery and Assault and Battery. Tremain was in a verbal argument with the victim. During this argument, Suarez and two unknown males circled the victim. Witnesses saw Suarez go into the victim’s backpack and take a cell phone and keys. When police arrived on scene, they witnessed Suarez sitting on the victim's chest and choking the victim's throat with both hands. During this time, Haywood was repeatedly closed fist punching the victim as he laid on the ground.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries. The victim had a cell phone, headphones and credit cards stolen.
