A resident of Cambridge was struck by a motor vehicle at the intersection of Broadway and Ellery Street. The victim was stuck while she was walking in the crosswalk. The vehicle that struck the woman remained on scene until Police arrived. The woman who was struck stated she was not injured from the crash and refused medical attention.

Barthesda Deberry, 39, homeless, was placed under arrest after it was determined that he shoplifted $67.15 from a department store located at Massachusetts Ave. Lost prevention from this store witnessed Deberry take three pairs of jean pants, place them into his black duffel bag, and exit the store without making any attempt to pay for the items. Deberry was stopped approximately a block away inside another store while trying to hide from the police. Deberry has also been trespassed from this store on 9/16/2017 and has a warrant out of Cambridge District Court. In addition to having the warrant, Deberry is charged with Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise and Trespassing.

Also arrested was Jin Yu Song, 30, 4344 Kissena Boulevard, Flushing, NY, for Derive Support from Prostitution activities of Laying Chen.
