MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Cambridge Police placed Mukul Arora, 23, 110 Massachusetts Avenue in Providence, Rhode Island, under arrest for Arson from a Dwelling, Fire Alarm False, Larceny from a Person. Arora was inside a residence of Massachusetts Avenue where he stole a cell phone from a resident inside, pulled the fire alarm two times, then attempted to use a lighter to set the sprinkler system off. When that failed, Arora grabbed what seemed to be paper towels from the residence and lit the towels on fire and placed them inside a dresser drawer in the hallway of the building.

The manager of a Mooney Street warehouse reports that on 2/4/18 at 2:20 p.m. he observed an individual who no longer rents space in the facility in the building. When he confronted him, this male stated he had not been informed that he could not be there and left the area. This individual had a couple of items loaded in his vehicle, but when the manager inspected all the storage rooms they were locked.

Cambridge Police arrested Michael Dellea, 35, homeless, and charged him with Larceny Over $250 after a loss prevention officer witnessed him conceal items under his jacket and leave the store without paying for the items.

Officers were dispatched to a Leighton Street address for a report of an armed robbery at this address. Upon arrival, responding officers and detectives spoke with the reporting person who stated his store was just robbed by an unknown male wearing a black mask, dressed in all black clothing, who brandished a knife before taking U.S. currency from the register and then fled the store.

Cambridge Police monitored a report of a theft in progress at a pharmacy on Massachusetts Avenue. Officers drove toward the scene of the theft and monitored the description of the suspect. A passing motorist stopped and asked if officers were looking for an individual wearing a brown coat. He directed CPD up a side street and where officers found and stopped the suspect. David Lemieux, 30 Brittania Circle in Salem, was arrested and conveyed to headquarters for booking and processing.

It was then discovered that operator was operating a motor vehicle after a license suspension. She was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle after Suspension.

William Umlah, 54, 51 Harlem Street in Worcester, was arrested at a Bishop Allen Drive residence for Unarmed Burglary and Assault, Malicious Destruction of Property Over $250 and Assault and Battery on a Police Officer after he forced his way into a residence, assaulting two lawful occupants and stole a table before attempting to flee.
