Upon arrival, responding officers and detectives spoke with the reporting person who stated his store was just robbed by an unknown male wearing a black mask, dressed in all black clothing, who brandished a knife before taking U.S. currency from the register and then fled the store.

Cambridge Police monitored a report of a theft in progress at a pharmacy on Massachusetts Avenue. Officers drove toward the scene of the theft and monitored the description of the suspect. A passing motorist stopped and asked if officers were looking for an individual wearing a brown coat. He directed CPD up a side street and where officers found and stopped the suspect. David Lemieux, 30 Brittania Circle in Salem, was arrested and conveyed to headquarters for booking and processing.

William Umlah, 54, 51 Harlem Street in Worcester, was arrested at a Bishop Allen Drive residence for Unarmed Burglary and Assault, Malicious Destruction of Property Over $250 and Assault and Battery on a Police Officer after he forced his way into a residence, assaulting two lawful occupants and stole a table before attempting to flee.
