Cambridge Police arrested Nicholas Burke-Dash, 27, 69 Linnea Street in Brockton, for warrants out of Cambridge District Court for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Resisting Arrest.

CPD responded to a Mass Ave address to document a malicious destruction of property report. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the reporting person who stated on 02/2/2018 between 1:30 a.m. and 2 a.m., an unknown suspect smashed the front glass door to his business.

A Boston resident walked into the Cambridge Police Station to report that on 2/7/18 while riding his bicycle near the Cambridge Common, an aggressive driver intentionally applied his brakes causing the bicyclist to crash into the rear of vehicle. The bicyclist states that vehicle operator never pulled over and just drove away from area without exchanging insurance information.

An Assistant Manager for a department store reports that earlier in the day a store employee observed two female shoplifters stuffing merchandise into a shopping bag. As employee approached the suspects, they fled the store with over $500 worth of clothing.

Cambridge Police responded to a CambridgeSide Place business for a report of an individual exiting the store after shoplifting merchandise. Loss Prevention informed police officers of the suspect's direction of travel, but officers were unable to locate the suspect.
