A resident of Waltham was summonsed to Cambridge District Court for Allowing Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle after a different operator was stopped while operating the Waltham resident’s uninsured vehicle on a public way.

The kitchen manager to a restaurant located on Massachusetts Ave near Central Square called to report that this business was broken into and that the safe was pried open and the contents were stolen. What was stolen was unknown at the time of this report. Detectives and Crime Scene investigators responded and processed the scene.

Godavari Patil, 59, of 1010 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge was placed under arrest for larceny over $250.00 after she was observed by asset protection employees at a department store concealing numerous clothing items valued at $469.96 in the shoulder bags she had in her possession and exit the store without paying for these items. This incident was captured on video.
