Mater Almishalawi, 52, of 167 N. Common Street, Lynn, was arrested at a Mass Ave department store and charged with Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise, after a store employee observed him conceal a phone charger in his jacket prior to paying for it.

Cambridge Police responded to the area of Massachusetts Avenue for reports of a child in a stroller struck by a motor vehicle. Professional Ambulance Services arrived on scene to evaluate involved parties. No injuries were reported at this time, the parents denied medical attention for their child and instead elected to take the child to the hospital for an evaluation.

Two motor vehicles were involved in a minor motor vehicle crash. The operator of one of the motor vehicles did not have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle and was issued a citation.

Cambridge Police responded to Osborn Street to speak with an individual who located their motor vehicle that they had previously believed to have been stolen. The motor vehicle was determined to be uninsured and held a revoked registration. The registered owner of the vehicle was on scene when officers arrived and was issued a warning for operating an uninsured motor vehicle on a public way.

Cambridge Police responded to a parking lot on Garden Street for a report of possible Gunshots. En route to the location, Cambridge Emergency Communications alerted all responding units that the reporting person heard a "pop" and witnessed "a person slumped over a dark colored motor vehicle." Upon arrival, Cambridge Police searched the parking lot for evidence, to which nothing was found. After discussing the incident with the reporting party, a Miscellaneous Report was taken.

BROOKLINE ST

Members of the Cambridge Police Special Investigations Unit arrested four individuals in the Central Square area after observing a street level drug transaction. Arrested on Temple Street were Tonia Pringle, 50, of 7 Temple Street, Cambridge, and Jose Deleon, 51, of 820 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge. Each was charged with Possession of a Class B Substance (Crack Cocaine) and Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substances Act. Also arrested at Massachusetts Avenue and Brookline Street were Karlito Delarosa, 23, of 127 Prospect Street, Waltham, and Marshall Bean, 23, of 70 Belcher Street, Sharon. Each was charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class B Substance (Crack Cocaine) and Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substances Act. Delarosa was also charged with Distribution of a Class B Substance (Crack Cocaine).
